Chad’s Morning Brief: A Message To The Lubbock City Council
Lubbock City Council members are playing with fire if reports about the budget are true. Higher taxes and higher fees with LP&L bills on the increase. Many citizens are tired of the increases and with the city council on defense over Citizens Tower and LP&L, do they really want to create more of a firestorm?
The council must find room for savings and they must justify the increases in expenses if they move forward on them. If they don't or can't and still drive the price of living in Lubbock up, the voters may make them pay.
