On Thursday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Cameron Brock from the Buddy Holly Center talked with Tom Collins and Laura Mac about their ongoing summer concert series.

The Buddy Holly Center's 2013 Summer Showcase Concert Series is currently underway in the Depot District. Brock said the weekly concert series is designed to showcase local artists and talent. This week's concert will take place tonight, July 11th, and will feature Indie, pop, and folk artist Hannah Jackson.

The Summer Showcase Concert Series will be held throughout the summer every Thursday from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the Meadows Courtyard at the Buddy Holly Center. Admission is free to the public. Brock also reminded that, while the center will have a cash bar at the concert, outside beverages are not allowed.
