Lubbock Independent School District Superintendent Dr. Berhl Robertson joined The Chad Hasty Show on Wednesday to talk about upcoming changes at LISD and what can be expected in the near future, as well as the new Texas Education Agency rating system for Texas schools.

The system, resulting from the 2015 passage of HB 2804, uses an 'A' through 'F' grading scale, and educators are not at all happy with the rating scale system.

During the interview, Robertson said, "I don't think it's a good system," then continued, saying, "It's not going to be as simple as people think it is...If this is what we're going to have [we need to ] make it the best that it can be, so it does make sense."

Robertson and Hasty also discussed coming changes at LISD, including new attendance times and school start/end schedules.
