Baron Batch To Visit Lubbock High School

Texas Tech running back and recent Pittsburgh Steelers draft pick Baron Batch will visit Lubbock High School today in support of Communities in School.  Batch will meet with students to share his story of humble beginnings and to encourage students to strive for excellence in all they do. Batch will be in the Communities in School (CIS) Room 1300 from 10 AM until 10:45 AM.

In his four seasons at Texas Tech, Batch rushed for 2501 yards and 27 touchdowns and had 140 receptions for 1111 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was the 29th pick in the 7th round in the 2011 NFL Draft.
