Authorities are searching for a reported armed suspect on the Texas A&M campus in College Station.

An armed subject was reportedly seen near their University Center garage around 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The suspect has been described as a white male in his late 40s with light-colored hair, and wearing a lime green short-sleeve shirt and jeans.

A person on campus reported that she saw the man walking down the street with what appeared to be a handgun in the waistband of his pants. Officers were dispatched to the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.

As of 6 p.m., the suspect has not yet been located on the campus.

Those on the campus were allowed to resume activities around the campus, but to remain cautious.

This is the second Code Maroon for the Texas A&M campus in two weeks, as the campus was evacuated in mid-October due to a bomb threat.
