Comic fans, the time is upon us once again. That's right, Comic-Con 2014 approaches, and this year Warner Bros. and DC have more than risen to the TV challenge, with not one, but four series to show off on Saturday! Find out what we'll see from 'Arrow' season 3, along with spinoff 'The Flash,' NBC's 'Constantine,' and FOX's hotly-anticipated 'Gotham' at the big San Diego show!
By now we're somewhat used to the painfully distended wait in between 'Sherlock' seasons, currently scheduled for a fourth series sometime before the sun explodes into pandas, but there's a spot of good news yet. According to ever-in-demand series star Martin Freeman, we may yet see the dashing detective return for a 'Sherlock' Christmas special by 2015.
Reviews of Damon Lindelof's rapturous new HBO drama 'The Leftovers have been uniformly across the board, but few would argue that a new series from one of the more controversial voices behind 'LOST' was at least worth a look. Now, HBO has put the full pilot online, along with a brand-new trailer teasing the dour drama ahead!
We were on the fence when AMC announced that 'Breaking Bad' would spawn its very own 'Better Cal Saul' spinoff, but already the network is doubling down on its criminal lawyer. Not only has 'Better Call Saul' already been renewed for a second season, but the series premiere has also moved to 2015, and the first photo of Bob Odenkirk as a stylin' Saul Goodman has arrived!
We'll say this for NBC, they're nothing if not persistent with their attention-grabbing TV events. Following the failure of horror remake miniseries 'Rosemary's Baby,' the peacock is looking a little lighter with a proposed event series telling the story of history's most iconic band, none other than the Beatles.
AMC's 'Mad Men' will once again leave us for the year after next Sunday, while freshman period drama 'Turn' closes up its inaugural season in just a few weeks, so why wait for a sneak peek of the next generation of AMC drama? Weeks before its June 1 premiere, check out the first full episode of '80s computer drama 'Halt and Catch Fire' right now!
Yesterday saw 'The Late Late Show' host Craig Ferguson announcing his imminent exit from the 10-year series in December, a move speculated to result from Stephen Colbert taking over David Letterman's 'Late Show,' where it seemed Ferguson had been overlooked. Now, video of Ferguson announcing his exit has arrived, while the 'Late Late Show' host insists his retirement has nothing to do with Letterman or Colbert.
Earlier this week we saw Stephen Colbert beginning to shed his 'Colbert Report' character with a first stop on David Letterman's standing 'Late Show,' before Colbert's takeover in 2015, but both Colbert and his character will enjoy a long victory tour before moving to broadcast. Watch 'The Colbert Report' host make his in-character goodbyes to 'The Daily Show''s Jon Stewart, a year ahead of schedule!
We'd already seen a first look at 'The Simpsons' going the LEGO route with photos of Homer and the rest of Springfield done up in brick for May 4 installment "Brick Like Me," but like 'The LEGO Movie' before it, these things work best in motion. Catch the first look at Homer building his LEGO life with FOX's first promo for the 550th episode, "Brick Like Me!"
