There has been a lot of discussion about water and water restrictions in recent weeks.   On This Week in Lubbock on KFYO, Aubrey Spear, the city’s director of water resources, compared Lubbock’s situation to  other cities.

“We are in much better shape than the thousands of other cities in the state of Texas that are in some stage of drought contingency.  Some of them don’t have any options in the works for additional water, and they’re struggling to find those options.”

You can hear the entire interview about water this Sunday at 6 a.m. on KFYO.
