A suspect has been identified and arrested for hanging a banner with Arabic writing on it from Lubbock's Citizen's Tower.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, 22-year-old Kyle Alexander Holub was arrested Wednesday afternoon and booked in at the Lubbock County Detention Facility.

Holub is being charged with Criminal Trespass.

Authorities were alerted Monday, Feb. 15 to a black banner with a red heart that was seen hanging from Citizen's Tower in downtown Lubbock. The banner had Arabic writing on it which translates to: "Love is for all."

Following the incident, Lubbock mayor Glen Robertson asked City Manager James Loomis to notify the FBI, Department of Homeland Security and Lubbock County Sheriff’s Department and that the city "take whatever steps are necessary to secure the building and ensure that this does not happen again."
