Birthright Citizenship, Executive Orders, And The 14th Amendment

On Wednesday's Chad Hasty Show, Amy Swearer, Legal Policy Analyst for The Heritage Foundation joined the broadcast to share her expertise on the 'birthright citizenship' issue, the possibility of an executive order being issued by President Trump on the matter, and the possible ramifications of such action.

About the legal precedence and uncertainties surrounding the issue, Swearer said,

Basically for the last 120 years, there has not been any cases directly on point addressing this issue.
