Ailey II Dance Company to Perform at Allen Theatre

A nationally-recognized dance company will perform at Texas Tech this week.

Ailey II, a New York-based dance company, will perform at the Texas Tech Allen Theatre on Friday evening.

Ailey II regularly sells out their tour stops, and is one of the most popular dance companies in the United States. Dancers in Ailey II are chosen from the most promising scholarship students of the Ailey School, which offers unique opportunities to aspiring artists.

General admission tickets are $15 and are available through all Select-A-Seat locations. Texas Tech students will receive one free ticket with a valid ID at the SUB information booth near the entrance of the Allen Theatre.

The performance will take place Friday, February 17^th at 7 p.m. in the Allen Theatre, located in the Student Union Building of Texas Tech.
