After Six Weeks Of Lower Prices, Lubbock Gas Prices Increase

According to a KFYO survey, the average price for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock this week is $3.48 a gallon, up 3 cents from last week.  Overall, prices for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock in the current survey range from $3.45 to $3.49 a gallon,

According to a AAA Texas survey, the average price in Texas is $3.56 a gallon, down 1 cent from last week.

The cheapest gas among the 11 Texas cities surveyed by AAA is in Beaumont-Port Arthur,  $3.51 a gallon.  The most expensive is in Amarillo, 3.58 a gallon.

Nationally, the average price is $3.68 a gallon, down 4 cents from last week.
