After Higher Prices Last Week, the Price of Gas in Lubbock Is Lower This Week

According to a KFYO survey, the average price for regular self-serve gas in Lubbock this week is $3.22 a gallon, down 3 cents.

According to a AAA Texas survey, the average price in Texas is $3.26 a gallon, down 6 cents.

The cheapest gas among the 11 Texas cities surveyed by AAA is in Fort Worth, ,$3.21 a gallon.  The most expensive is in El Paso,  $3.44 a gallon.

Nationally, the average price is $3.45 a gallon, down 7 cents.
