AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report for June 19th 2014

This week’s AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch Report has been released.

Statewide, the average price of a gallon of unleaded gasoline is currently $3.50. That’s six cents higher than last week’s price and 17 cents lower than the national average of $3.67.

Drivers in Dallas are paying the most for their gas at $3.57 a gallon, while those in Corpus Christi are seeing more than a 10 cent drop to $3.41.

According to AAA Texas, gas prices in June have declined the past three years. However, analysts say that recent turmoil in Iraq may prevent the trend from repeating this year.
