98th Street Reconstruction Begins Between Avenue P & Highway 87

More road construction is underway, this time in southeast Lubbock.

The reconstruction of 98^th Street from Avenue P to Highway 87 began on Monday, July 9^th.

98^th Street will be closed to through traffic and will have local business access only. Motorists are urged to allow extra time for delays or to use alternate routes.

The work is being contracted by Lone Star Dirt and Paving Inc., under contract with the City of Lubbock.

This project is expected to take around two weeks to complete, barring any delays.
