82nd Street at Memphis Avenue in Lubbock to Undergo Water Utility Work

Water utility work will cause delays along 82^nd Street beginning next week, according to the City of Lubbock.

Eastbound traffic along 82^nd Street at Memphis Avenue will be reduced to one lane to allow crews to perform water utility work.

The work will begin on Monday, January 7^th and is expected to run through Friday, January 18^th.

Westbound traffic will not be affected. Motorists in the area will experience delays and are encouraged to allow additional time or to find an alternate route.

Memphis Avenue will still be accessible from 82^nd Street during the closure.
