The 2012 Texas 4-H Roundup for the first time in its 65-year history will be held on the Texas Tech University campus this June.

The Roundup marks the peak even for all Texas 4-H participants, with over 4,000 annual attendees. It features around 50 various competitions for those who qualified at county and district levels. Designed to build the participating youths’ skills in team building and competition and provide career advancement opportunities, the event will give $2 million in scholarships.

The 4-H Roundup will be June 11th through the 15th.Aaron Watson will perform at the event June 14th, and a trade show will show off over 75 vendors and their goods, including booths from colleges, trophy businesses, clothing companies, and fundraisers.
