Zach Brady took the oath of office this morning (Wednesday) at a special meeting as Lubbock ISD's newest member of the Board of Trustees.

Brady was appointed on June 16th to fill the position vacated by Melissa Collier.

Brady is a parent of two, an attorney, small business owner, and both of his parents were public school educators. Brady will serve until the next regular board election on May 5th, 2018.

The board also voted on reorganization of officers as follows: President Laura Vinson, Vice President James Arnold, and Secretary Mark Blankenship.
