Samsung has already discontinued the Note 7, which when launched was thought of as one of the best smartphones on the market. After some consumers experienced their phones bursting into flames though, it was clear something was wrong. Samsung has urged all Note 7 users to bring their phones back, but some people are still holding on to their phones.

Because of the threat that a Note 7 could catch on fire, the U.S. government has stepped in and will reportedly ban people from flying with the phone. According to Bloomberg, flight restrictions will go into effect on Saturday. If you have a Note 7, the phone won't even be allowed on a plane if it has already been shutdown.

Bloomberg also reported that Samsung estimates they will lose $5.3 billion dollars in profit due to the recall of the Note 7.

If you own a Note 7, it's probably best at this point to turn the phone in and get something else.
