Yet another pedestrian has been injured after being involved in a hit-and-run in Lubbock.

KAMC News reports that the incident happened on Tuesday, June 28th in the early morning hours. Surveillance footage showed the victim, who wasn't identified, walking northbound in the 5400 block of 50th Street.

It's said that the victim "failed to yield the right of way" and was struck by a vehicle that then kept on driving. A vehicle description was not given in news reports, but debris from the vehicle were apparently left at the scene.

When police arrived on scene, they found the victim lying on his back in the roadway. Visible injuries were noted on his torso and shoulder. Other vehicles had stopped around him so he wouldn't be struck again.

The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
