Thirty five days until Election Day and tonight is the first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. The debate will happen in Cleveland, Ohio and will look slightly different than previous debates.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the audience will be limited and there will be no handshakes.

The debate will begin at 8 p.m. CT and last until 9:30 p.m. The debate will air on News/Talk 95.1 FM and 790 AM KFYO and on the KFYO app. The main television networks and cable news channels will carry the debate as well. Fox News Sunday anchor, Chris Wallace will moderate the debate on Tuesday night.

Wallace has said the following will be the debate topics for the first debate:

  • The record of President Trump and Former Vice President Joe Biden
  • the Supreme Court
  • COVID-19
  • the economy
  • race and violence in U.S. cities
  • the integrity of the election

KFYO will have special programming surrounding Tuesday night's debate. Beginning at 7 p.m. Steve Evans and KFYO's Rob Snyder will host a pre-debate show and then following the debate the two will return to share their thoughts and take your feedback.

Following Tuesday's debate, Vice President Mike Pence and Kamala Harris will debate on October 7th. Then the second presidential debate will be held on October 15 and the third debate will be held on October 22.

Early voting for the November 3rd election begins on October 13 in Texas.
