Where to Pay Respect in Lubbock, Texas to Those Who Died in the 9/11 Terror Attacks
Each year, Lubbock, Texas remembers those lost in the September 11 terror attacks by placing American flags at Bill and Ann Miller Park.
Originally, there was a flag for each person who lost their life during the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. Due to nearby school construction, that number is currently at 800. However, it's still a somber reminder of that horrible day.
The flags are scheduled to remain at Miller Park through Tuesday, September 16.
Miller Park is located at 3450 74th Street near South Loop 289.
