Judge Head’s remarks regarding the possibility of civil war if President Obama is re-elected have received national attention.  Some critics have called for his  resignation.  On Lubbock’s First News on KFYO, Carl Tepper, the chairman of the Lubbock County  Republican Party was asked about Head’s political future.

QUESTION: Bottom line for Judge Head…his political future.  What do you think?

TEPPER: “That’s up to the voters.  That’s up to him and the voters.  If he wants to keep serving this thing may die down next week.  Possibly nobody  will remember it.  He’s got to run again in a couple of years.  That’s up to him and the voters. If he chooses to keep serving, he gets to keep serving.  If you don’t like it, too bad.”
