West Texas Endurance Partners With Texas Tech For Rockin’ Raider Retro Run

A group of Lubbock runners has partnered with Texas Tech for a 5K on campus.

West Texas Endurance has announced the Rockin’ Raider Retro Run, which will be held Sunday, September 8^th, 2013.

The run will begin at 7 p.m., and the start and finish line will be at the United Spirit Arena.

The group has partnered with the Texas Tech Residence Halls Association to host the run on campus.

“It’s always a pleasure to promote fitness and entertainment together,” said Ainsley Nelson, a principal of West Texas Endurance. “The Rockin’ Raider Retro Run is the perfect opportunity to get your groove on while listening to great music from the past and seeing some fun costumes along the way.”

Participants are invited to come dressed in their mini-skirts, bell bottoms, gold chains, sweatbands, or other retro clothing.
