Warm, Windy Weather Ahead For Lubbock
Temperatures on Monday in around Lubbock will be quite pleasant with high's in the mid 60's. Tuesday will be one of those days that you will have to pay attention.
Temperatures on Tuesday are predicted to warm up into the mid to upper 80's with a strong wind around 21 miles per hour. A Red Flag warning has already been issued for Lubbock and the surrounding counties. This means wildfires and dust storms will be possible. The Red Flag warring will be in effect on Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday the temperatures will again rise into the upper 80's and some folks could even see temperatures top out at around 90. The good news? The wind looks like it will calm down.
Weekend Weather in Lubbock
Things could still change but this weekend is looking great. Sunny skies and high temperatures in the low 80's on Friday and Saturday. A cold front will knock temperatures back down into the 60's on Sunday.
Of course, knowing that this is Lubbock, we know that forecasts can change rather quickly in the part of the world. Be paying attention on Tuesday for high winds and dust in the air.
