Update: Shooting Victim Identified And Police Search for Suspect
Update: Lubbock police are still searching for a suspect in the Tuesday morning shooting of a 20-year-old man, now identified as Fabian Servin.
KAMC News reports that Servin was shot twice by an unknown assailant while he was outside his grandmother’s apartment and is now in recovery at a local hospital.
Servin’s family claims they have no idea who might have shot Servin or why. Police have also not announced any leads on a potential suspect.
Original Story: Lubbock police are investigating a shooting that took place Tuesday morning just after midnight.
Officers responded to reports of shots being fired at around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 7500 block of 19th Street.
KAMC News reports that the shooting occurred at the Reese Wing Apartment complex, and that a 20-year-old man was found by police with serious injuries related to the shooting.
The shooting victim was taken to a local hospital, and his identity has not been released. There's been no official word on his current condition as of the publication of this story.
Police are still investigating, but have said that they may be looking for a male suspect who fled the scene in a light-colored car.
