Upcoming Wreck ‘Em Tech Breakfast and Legislation Luncheon
Tuesday on KFYO Mornings with Dave King and Matt Martin, The CEO of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Eddie McBride joined Dave and Matt to talk about school about to be back in session, football season, the Wreck em Tech Athletics Breakfast, Leadership Lubbock, the Legislation Appreciation Luncheon, Top 20 Under 40, Citibus, and other things going on in Lubbock.
Coming up on Wednesday, August 21st, the Chamber will be having the Wreck em Tech Athletics Breakfast. Eddie explained that they will have appearances from Coaches Graystone, Stone, Wes Kittley, and Matt Wells, who will come in and give a preview of what their fall lineup is going to look like.
On Tuesday, August 27th at 11:30 am, the Chamber will be hosting the Legislation Appreciation Luncheon to show appreciation for Senator Charles Perry, Representatives Dustin Burrows and John Frullo, and others. McBride was asked if Burrows is going to have a chance for questions and answers during the luncheon concerning the recent issues surrounding him. Eddie responded that he does not know if they will have questions and answers, but that all of these issues do not concern the Luncheon.
The Chamber also has two upcoming Business After Hours. One on Thursday, August 22nd at Premiere Cinema, and another on Thursday, September 5th at the Federal Credit Union. The Chamber will also have a Cyber Security Seminar on Thursday, September 12th.
