Two Suspects Arrested for September Shooting in Lubbock, One More Remains at Large
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a shooting that happened in the 1900 block of East Colgate Street in Lubbock on Sunday, September 12th, 2021.
At around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, October 21st, 28-year-old Shaye Johnson was arrested in Dallas, and Kenneth Johnson was arrested in Mesquite.
Back on September 12th, the Lubbock Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at 6:12 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found 23-year-old Lashundrick McBrewer with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nineteen-year-old Akkini McDade and 23-year-old Tyroen Robinson had already been arrested for this incident.
EverythingLubbock reports authorities are still searching for 28-year-old Shayn Johnson, who was also involved in the incident. Johnson is wanted on third-degree felony deadly conduct and discharging a firearm
