At around 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2nd, Lubbock Fire Rescue responded to two houses on fire.

KAMC News reports this was in the 3600 block of 32nd Street and that black smoke could be seen from a camera in the 7400 block of South University.

The fire started in a vacant house and spread to another.

A woman was inside the second house when the fire spread, but she was able to get out safely. The cause of the fire is unknown.
