Help Catch These Two Dangerous Fugitives on Texas Most Wanted List for $3,000 Reward

The Texas Department of Public Safety has added two dangerous violent offenders to their Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list as of March 27.

Braylon Lee Smart of Houston, Texas

Braylon Lee Smart is a 27-year-old male from Houston. He has multiple warrants from several counties.

• Harris County, Texas - Warrant issued in February 2023 for evading arrest/detention with a previous conviction in February 2023. Another warrant issued in October 2023 for failure to register as a sex offender.
• Fort Bend County, Texas - Warrant issued in October 2023 for failure to register as a sex offender.
• Orange County, Florida - Warrant issued for attempted homicide. Convicted in 2020 of assault on a law enforcement officer.
• Maricopa County, Arizona - Warrant issued for failure to appear.

Smart was convicted in the sexual assault of a 20-year-old female in 2020 and sentenced to two years in TDCJ.

Smart is 5' 9" and 180 lbs with  tattoos on his neck, chest and both arms. He has ties to Missouri City, Texas, and Orlando, Florida along with Houston.

He may also go by Brayden Smart or Braylon Smart. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Christopher Michael Anderson of Odessa, Texas

Christopher Michael Anderson is a 46-year-old male from Odessa.

Anderson has been wanted since October 2023 after the Ector County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.

Anderson's criminal history is as follows:

• In 2003, Anderson was convicted of obstruction/retaliation and subsequently sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ.
• In 2003, he was convicted on four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child following incidents with an 8-year-old girl and 9-year-old girl. Anderson was subsequently sentenced to 20 years confinement for each offense to be served concurrently.
• In 2017, Anderson was released from a TDCJ prison on parole.

Anderson is 5'10" and 175 lbs with a tattoo on his upper right arm and scars on his back and near his right eye.

He may also go by Chris Anderson, Christopher Michel Anderson, or Michael Anderson. He is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Texas Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of these two men. All tips are guaranteed to be confidential.

• Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about then clicking on the link under their picture.
• Submit a Facebook tip by clicking the “SUBMIT A TIP” link (under the “About” section).

All tips are anonymous—regardless of how they are submitted—and tipsters will be provided a tip number instead of using a name.
