A Bike Rodeo Is Coming To Lubbock
What do you know about bike safety? If the answer is "not much" or "nothing at all" you might just want to participate in this great event that will be hosted by the Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department. In fact, even if you know a great deal about bike safety, it will still be a fun event for the family.
According to a Facebook post by the Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department, the Bike Rodeo will take place on May 18th, 2024 from 11am to 1pm at Safety City located at 4500 Ave. U. The event is free and open to the public.
Those attending will learn safety tips for those on bikes and pedestrians, proper helmet fittings, learning hand signals and more.
There will also be vendors and music on site according to the Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
Sounds like a great event for the whole family.
