Lubbock Traffic Alert – A New Light Is Going Into Service

Starting Tuesday, June 6^th, the intersection at 98^th and Ave. P will be home to a new traffic light.

According to the City of Lubbock, the new light will flash red in all directions on Tuesday, June 6^th (treat it like a 4-way stop) and will start normal operation on Wednesday, June 7^th at 9 a.m.

This should make the traffic in this area run a bit smoother and create a safer roadway for those living in the area.
