Reyes had been wanted since December 2024 when warrants were issued for his arrest for aggravated assault, sexual assault, and choking a family member. An additional warrant was issued for Reyes in January 2025 for theft of property.

Texas Fugitive Criminal History

Reyes' criminal history includes charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault towards a family member, sexual assault, indecency with a child, and evading arrest.

Texas DPS was offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of Reyes, but because his capture was not a direct result from an online tip, the reward money will not go to anyone.

How to Submit a Crime Stoppers Tip in Texas

In order to be eligible for cash rewards, you must provide information that could lead to the arrest of anyone on Texas' most wanted list. The only three ways you can submit tips are either through the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-252-8477, submitting a tip through the DPS website, or providing info via a Facebook tip on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Facebook page.
