A business in Clovis, New Mexico, was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning.

A female wearing a gold face mask walked into Title Cash, located at 1902 North Prince Street around 9:20 a.m. on Friday, September 7th, brandished a pistol, and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A nearby middle school and elementary school were placed on lock down as officers searched for the suspect in the area.

The female suspect, described by the cashier as possibly Hispanic, was wearing the gold face mask with a black back, a brown striped shirt with white and brown-colored pants.

The cashier was unharmed, and gave a complete statement to Clovis police, who continue to investigate.
