The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado has been updated and has fantastic features.

Gone is the Saab/Isuzu based Inline 5 cylinder motor, being replaced with a choice of a 2.5 liter I4 Dual Overhead Cam Variable Valve Timing motor, which has similar technology as the Honda V-Tech motors, and a 3.6 liter Dual Overhead Cam V6. The motor is mated to a 6 speed automatic transmission, and you can get it in 2 or 4 wheel drive. You can get a 7 speaker Bose audio system, with up to an 8” color touch screen display. KFYO’s Car Pro Jerry Reynolds reported that the truck drives very well and is recommended if you are in the market for a mid-size truck.

The problem with the Colorado is the price. The bare-bones version starts at $20,120, a stunningly high price when you can get a half-ton Chevrolet Silverado locally for around $24,000. The top of the line Colorado will set you back around $30,000, which isn’t bad with the features, but is still too much for a mid-sized truck when there are so many other choices out there.
