The Josh Abbott Band is set to play Cook's Garage, 11002 Highway 87, live on Saturday, July 18th, according to their website.

This concert will be held outside under the signs. Cook's Garage has a special outdoor gathering permit, and social distancing will be required, in addition to Governor Abbott's face covering mandate, which went into effect on July 3rd.

It's a standing room only event, or there are a few seating options. You can BYOLC. That's:  bring your own lawn chair. You also have the option to buy a table. The table seats 8 people, and is a separate purchase for $200. This concert will have a full bar available.

It will be very important during this show to practice social distancing and to stay with your group. Here's what they've posted on their site:

Artists will not perform until comfortable with audience's ability to practice social distancing!

Doors open at 7 p.m., and the concert gets underway at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door. You can visit Eventbrite for more details and to purchase tickets.

It's great to see that we have an opportunity to enjoy a live concert event. Bands like Josh Abbott usually generate a ton of crowd energy. It may not be so easy to sit back at our table or lawn chair and keep a healthy social distance, but it's better than not being able to have a concert at all.

So get set to sit back, relax and enjoy some tremendous music from the one and only Josh Abbott Band this Saturday night.
