The Family of 7-Year-Old Killed in Crash Has Set Up a GoFundMe
The family of 7-year-old Kodi Holt, the child killed in a rollover crash in South Lubbock County on Monday, November 29th, has set up a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses.
The goal of the GoFundMe was set at $5,000, but as of 6:15 p.m. on November 30th, that goal had already been surpassed.
KAMC News reports that 33-year-old Ashley Nicole Holt was in the vehicle with her 2 daughters when she overcorrected and rolled on Woodrow Road near Frankford Avenue. Holt and her 10-year-old daughter, Kinley suffered serious injures but Kodi was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both Ashley and Kinley were said to have been recovering well in an update on GoFundMe. Kinley was said to have been moved from ICU into a regular room.
Sonya Ivie is listed as the organizer for the page, and an excerpt taken from the page says the following:
Please help the family of Kodi Holt with funeral & medical expenses. They had a tragic car accident taking the life of 7 year old Kodi Holt, & injuring her mom & older sister. Any small amount will help! Prayers needed!!!!
