A trip to Whataburger may be in store for those who are fans of Dr Pepper and shakes. The fan favorite, Dr Pepper shake is back in stores across Texas, but sadly, only for a limited time.

Whataburger made the announcement on Tuesday, delighting people all across the Lone Star State. The shake will sell for $3.79 depending on your location. The Dr Pepper Shake was a hit when it first came out and the longer it was out, there more fans it gained.

Whataburger doesn't always leave hit desserts and shakes on their menu forever, so it's not a huge surprise to see them bring back the Dr Pepper Shake in a "limited-run".

So what does it taste like? According to the Houston Chronicle, it taste like a Dr Pepper shake should taste.

"The limited-time offer shake is rich, tasty and creamy, made using a vanilla shake base and Dr Pepper syrup," the statement read.

Whataburger did not say when the promo ends. The shake is selling for $3.79, but prices may vary depending on where you live.
