Have you ever wanted to own and operate a small town coffee shop that also serves food, craft soda, beer/wine, and cocktails? Oh they have a really good pizza as well? If so, you are in luck because there happens to be a popular coffee shop near Lubbock that is for sale.

Fred's Garage, located in Shallowater at 609 Avenue H, is officially for sale according to the owners. And the good news is that it isn't for sale because they aren't making it, instead it's for sale because the current owners say it's doing too well and become too much of a time commitment.

According to a post on Fred's Facebook page, the coffee shop is doing "insanely well" but the current owners want to pass the torch to someone who has more time and can continue growing the popular Shallowater coffee shop.

The good news? The current owners say they aren't going anywhere right now. Business is good and they have no plans to close Fred's Garage. They pointed out that they would be closed from December 21-January 8 which is the same time they were closed last year. And as a family owned and run business that has taken even more time than they thought, you can't blame them for wanting some time off.

As someone who has been to Fred's Garage many, many times, I can attest to it being really good and it is often busy. Hopefully they can find an owner who will carry on the great atmosphere, drinks, and food and even grow Fred's Garage into something even bigger.
