Texas Tech Student Arrested After Being Found Using Couple’s Bathroom

A Lubbock man is behind bars after being caught using the bathroom in the house of people he did not know.

Residents of a home in the 1100 block of Grover Avenue reportedly found 22-year-old Jon-Bryson Thornton using their bathroom at around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police arrived at the scene and arrested Thornton. There were no signs of forced entry, and authorities say that alcohol may be a factor in the incident.

Thornton has been charged with Burglary of a Habitation, Criminal Mischief, and Criminal Trespass. He is being held in the Lubbock County Jail in lieu of $18,250 bond.
