The Red Raider baseball team could not keep up the momentum that delivered them a hefty win on Tuesday.

The 25th-ranked Texas Tech team delivered the sound defeat to Stephen F. Austin on Tuesday, claiming a 20 to 4 victory at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park. This came after Tech managed 17 base hits and an 11-run sixth inning.

Wednesday’s game did not go as well for the Red Raiders, as the Lumberjacks beat Tech 6 to 3 in the final game of the two-game midweek series.

Tech baseball will be back in action this weekend in Fort Worth, playing in a three-game series against TCU. Friday’s game will begin at 6:30 p.m., Saturday’s game will take place at 4 p.m., and that series will wrap up on Sunday with a 1 p.m. first pitch.
