It wasn't without some drama this season, but the Texas Tech Red Raiders have won their third Big 12 Championship in four years.

Texas Tech baseball clinched the 2019 Championship by beating TCU on the final two days of the regular season, including an 8-4 victory on Saturday night.

The Red Raiders led the way in the Big 12 with a 16-8 record and finished the season on fire, winning 10 of their last 11 conference games, including sweeps over Oklahoma State and Oklahoma.

As a team, Texas Tech led the way offensively as the best team in the conference and sits in the top three in every offensive category.

Texas Tech also found their way defensively halfway through the Big 12 season by slotting Josh Jung into the SS role and Parker Kelly as the every day third baseman. There was also a change in the rotation around the same time, with Micah Dallas joining the weekend and Caleb Killian locking in as the ace. Bryce Bonnin would finally settle in on Sunday to win the final three Sunday games in the Big 12.

Now, the Big 12 Player of the Year will most likely come from Texas Tech, but who will it be?

Josh Jung? Maybe. My vote would go to senior Cam Warren, who's been an absolute terror at the plate and the model of consistency at first base. He's near the top in all of the offensive categories and leads the conference in RBIs by more than 15.

Texas Tech will now go to the Big 12 Tournament as the 1-seed.
