Texas Tech Athletics has announced that it has expanded its relationship with Tailgate Express, a fan-focused hospitality and entertainment company.

Through this partnership, Texas Tech and Tailgate Express developed the all-new Raider Village, which will debut this fall as the official pregame tailgate of Texas Tech Athletics.

Raider Village will be a premium area where fans have the option to choose how they tailgate.

Located in the heart of campus along the Engineering Key just north of Memorial Circle, Raider Village will feature three tailgating options for fans, including individual single game/season tickets, VIP tailgate packages and corporate tailgate packages.

“It is our goal to continually improve on what we already believe to be the best gameday atmosphere in the country,” Texas Tech Senior Associate Athletics Director Robert Giovannetti said. “Tailgating is obviously an integral part of the experience and we believe Raider Village opens up opportunities for all of our fans.”

Single ticket passes to Raider Village will be sold on either a per-game or per-season basis and will include access to the all-inclusive tailgate area.

Single-ticket pass guests will have their choice of two options. The first is a food-only option which allows buffet access within Raider Village. The second is a food and beverage option which allows access to both the buffet and bar area (beer and wine only for those 21 years and older).

VIP tailgate spaces at Raider Village will be available for purchase to groups ranging in size from 15, 30, or even 50 guests. These packages will include one parking pass, private tailgate space, tent, TV with satellite service, tables, chairs, coolers, setup and teardown, and the ability to tailgate until the end of the game.

Corporate tailgate spaces will be offered at Raider Village on the northern end of the Engineering Key.

Private corporate tailgates will be sold as an all-inclusive package and will include food and beverage options.

Setups are customizable and can range in accommodation from groups with 100 guests to groups as large as 500 guests.

Tailgate Express will also be introducing an all-new “Build Your Own Tailgate” platform for fans located in Red Raider Club designated donor tailgating lots.

This option is limited to tailgaters who already have a parking space on campus. Guests will be able to build their own tailgate in order to meet their exact tailgating needs.

Tailgate Express will service all guests with a delivery and pre-order service for tailgate items, including equipment, supplies, and food and beverages.
