A Republican candidate for Texas Land Commissioner will host a fundraiser in Lubbock.

David Watts will host the event on Friday, November 15th at the Science Spectrum in Lubbock.

The event is free to attend, but contributions are encouraged.

The fundraiser will begin at 7 p.m. and Watts will speak at 7:30 p.m. A question and answer session will follow.

“I’m delighted to have yet another opportunity to speak to Texans about the vital work of the Texas Land Commissioner, and my conservative solutions for that work,” said Watts. “As I’ve talked to Texans across the state, it has become very clear that Texans want a real choice in this campaign and that my conservative solutions are resonating deeply with voters.”

The Science Spectrum is located at 2579 South Loop 289, between Indiana and University Avenue.

George P. Bush is also running for the Texas Land Commissioner position.
