Where else in Texas can you see dinosaur tracks AND hunt for geocaches on a paddleboat if not here in Texas?

I remember the thrill I experienced when I joined a friend of mine on a geocache trip, and his dad took us to local parks for trinkets and whatnot. I was pretty young, but I remember feeling like a pirate following a map to buried treasure. To think that I was missing out on the ultimate camping trip in Texas was disappointing, to say the least.

 Fall in Texas

The fall season is my FAVORITE time of the year, since I can wear what I want and however many layers I want without any judging eyes. Fall is also so important in Texas because of the gorgeous landscapes and beautiful state parks that adorn the state.

One of my favorites has to be Dinosaur Valley State Park in Glen Rose. This particular destination offers fossil explorations for all ages, and wildlife trails that put a smile on any edgy teen's face.

One site, dfwchild.com, provided the perfect bucket list for any fall vacation in Texas. Keep scrolling to see the full list, and don't be afraid to make some last-minute plans along the way...
