Texas Anti-Gang Center Arrests 3 After Vehicle Pursuit
The Lubbock Texas Anti-Gang Center arrested three people Thursday afternoon (July 25th) following a vehicle pursuit.
According to a TAG press release, it began when Investigators attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 1900 block of 66th Street at around 1:53 p.m. The vehicle failed to stop and actively fled from the investigators.
The vehicle stopped near 60th Street and Indiana Avenue. All three occupants were then taken into custody.
The driver, 24-year-old Ashley Espenchied, was charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Evidence.
One of the passengers, 27-year-old James Rackley, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Tampering with Evidence.
The other passenger was a female juvenile, who was listed as a runaway from Oklahoma. She was subsequently transported to LCJJC and turned over to CPS Investigators.
