
Teenagers Lead Lubbock Police on Pursuit After Possible Robbery

The Lubbock Police Department are investigating a police chase and wreck that happened on Monday, November 29th, in Southwest Lubbock.
Officers were called just after 4:15 a.m. to a business at 94th Street and Remington Avenue for reports of a burglary. The suspect’s vehicle was located in the 5000 block of the South Loop, but the suspect led authorities on a chase, which ended when the vehicle crashed into a tree at 53rd Street and Gary Avenue.
Two of the three occupants of the vehicle fled the scene while the remaining suspect, a 15 year-old male, was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries.
One of the suspects who fled, another 15 year-old male, was arrested and taken to the Lubbock County Juvenile Justice Center. The third suspect has yet to be found.
