On Monday's edition of Lubbock's First News, Ted Cruz joined Chad and Rex to discuss his run for U.S. Senate.

Cruz served as the Solicitor General of Texas for 5 years, and has successfully defended the constitutionality of the Texas Ten Commandments monument, keeping the words "Under God," in the Pledge of Allegiance, and U.S. sovereignty. Cruz repeatedly emphasized the need for strong, conservative leaders, and that he is honored to have so many people supporting him in his race.

He also spoke about his views on illegal immigration, saying that if we stop the flow of illegals across our borders and cut off jobs for those who cannot prove they are U.S. citizens, then the illegal immigrants would be more inclined to return to their own countries.
