Tuesday on The Chad Hasty Show, Kyle Pomerleau, an economist from the Tax Foundation joined Chad to talk about Donald Trump's recently released tax proposal, as well as those of other presidential candidates.

Pomerleau provided details about Trump's plan, and explained the two sides of the proposal, one being the individual side, and the other for business. The plan includes substantial tax cuts and would be a huge slash in the money coming into Washington through taxes.

About some of the details in the Trump tax bill, Pomerleau said,

Yes, there are some loopholes for deductions that are being limited, but, the rate cuts are so substantial, that at the end of the day the wealthiest are still going to be, their tax bills are still going to be lowered substantially, the middle class bills still going to be lowered substantially, and lower income tax bills lowered substantially.

More information about Trump's plan as well as comparisons of other candidate tax proposals are detailed on the Tax Foundation website. Tax Foundation is a non-profit and research foundation based in Washington D.C. Kyle Pomerleau is an economist for the Tax Foundation’s Center for Federal Tax Policy
