The most expensive house for sale in Texas right now is a work of art. The mansion sits on 15 acres with gardens and water falls throughout the property. The estate was established in 1938 and is a French-château–inspired limestone mansion. The mansion is located in the Preston Hollow neighborhood of Dallas.

According to Architectualdigest.com, the home was originally built for a member of Italian nobility.

Count Pio Crespi—in 1938 and is often called the Crespi Estate. Crespi moved to the United States to oversee his cotton business, and hired Swiss architect Maurice Fatio to design him a stately home. It was later bought by Tom Hicks, a Dallas businessman, who previously owned the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Stars. The most expensive home in Texas was most recently sold in 2019 to a representative of Charlee Lochridge Cox Dynasty Trust for $38 million, according to The Dallas Morning News.

Outside the home has a greenhouse, gardens, waterfalls, a creek, tennis court, and of course a huge pool. Oh and don't forget about the helipad.

Inside, you truly understand the craftsmanship that went into building this mansion. The mansion is 27k sq. ft. and comes with 14 ft. ceilings on the first and second floors. There is also a 3000 sq. ft. guest house and a 4800 sq. ft. recreation complex that comes with a theater.
