House District 83

The Republican Primary for HD 84 will advance to a run-off. Meanwhile, in HD 83, State Rep. Dustin Burrows fended off a challenger.

Lubbock Lawyer and Democrat John Gibson will hold his campaign announcement for District 84 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9th.

In a statement, Speer mentions a statute in the Texas Constitution which he believes would disqualify him from holding office.

Burrows gave listeners some background information about himself, then went on to discuss many topics, including the ability of people and businesses to easily stay compliant with the law.
